Charles Clarke's Castle
I've now added an article about Charles Clarke to the expanding Tony Blair Microsite. In it I quote a meeting between the young Clarke and Tony Benn after the former had returned from a visit to Cuba; and a reference in Bryan Gould's autobiography to Clarke's attitude to Neil Kinnock.
It gave me a chance to assess Mr Clarke with a bit of amateur psychology. You can get to the article by clicking on the headline, Charles Clarke's Castle.
Meanwhile the main biogs.com site, I'm pleased to say, goes from strength to strength. I must, with seasonal goodwill, say a big thank you to my good friend, Rupert Vandervell who has contributed several of the biographies including such diverse characters as Paul Newman, Garry Kasparov, Stephen Fry, Puccini and Pamela Anderson!
