We updated Big Brother escapee Orlaith McAllister's biography today after learning that you can bid to have a date with her. Check out Orlaith's biog to see the link to the the latest eBay price - I think bidding ends in about a week.

The last time I looked it was £3500. Whereas Tim Lovejoy (a lovely chap) was only a few hundred quid.

Ashes and Bones

It's been a busy day at Biogs Towers.

We've updated a lot of cricketers today after England's excellent series victory over the Australians.

And although Flintoff must be man of the series, surely nobody can argue with Pietersen being man of the day - that's why we've chosen to highlight him.

Also today we've added a Bones section with biographies of the main actors in the new Fox TV series, and a biography of author and Bones inspiration, Kathy Reichs.

We have launched today our Man Booker Prize section with biographies of the shortlisted authors for the prestigious prize.

Lance Armstrong's obsession

As well as adding hundreds of new biographies, one of the key tasks for the team at Biogs is to keep the existing biographies up to date.

It was in that role that I was updating Lance Armstrong's biography after his announcement that he was getting engaged to Sheryl Crow, when I saw the quote from his official spokesman that "Lance proposed to Sheryl on Wednesday while the couple were in Sun Valley, Idaho, on a mountain biking holiday."

The thought that a holiday for Lance Armstrong is 'mountain biking' takes some beating!
