Biogs in 2005

We're taking a few days off for Christmas /Channucah so it seemed a good time to have a brief look back at 2005.

Firstly, thanks to our two main supporters - Ben Rosenbaum, for his enthusiastic contributions across all fields although mainly in the football area, and also to Rupert Vandervell for his biogs, photos and general words of support.

Thanks too to those who took the time to provide us with constructive criticism and helped us to correct some errors.

On the subject of feedback: 1) Please do join our forum and 2) please fill in our survey (it should only take a couple of minutes).

Biogs is pleased to provide our service free of charge and we are able to do that because of our advertisers - so a big thank you to our advertisers and sponsors.

2005 was the year that Biogs grew up. We started just over a year ago - not really knowing where we were heading - with just one guide - the idea that content is king. We are guided by providing a service that people want and are covering increasing numbers of figures from popular culture; but we still get a shiver of satisfaction from finding the figures of public interest that none of the rest of the world are covering properly. When somebody starts a search and finds what they need through us then each time we can give ourselves a little pat on the back.

Let us hope that 2006 continues to see a growth in the use of Biogs. If you have any suggestions on how we can fulfil this mission please let us know. Please email me any feedback.
