Ghazal Asif

Ghazal Asif, from Glasgow, was 23 when she entered The Apprentice.

Ghazal was the youngest ever candidate on The Apprentice. She progressed through the early stages of The Apprentice, but was fired in week 8. Ghazal's favourite candidate left in The Apprentice at that stage was Tre.

Ghazal Asif was a Business Development Manager, who, before The Apprentice, was responsible for a turnover of £6 million of services per annum.

Ghazal was a partner specialising in distribution for Hewlett Packard.

Ghazal, whose friends call her Gaz, is interested in establishing a business in fashion. One of Ghazal's earliest jobs was as a cosmetics manager at the House of Fraser store in Buchanan Street, Glasgow.

Her fundraising skills were shown to good effect when she raised over £8,000 staging a charity event for the Asian Tsunami.

Ghazal, who left Shawlands Academy in Glasgow in 2001 after passing her Highers, speaks five languages.

The Sunday Mirror reported that Ghazal's father, Shehzada, is a convicted armed robber who held up a corner shop. He was jailed for three and a half years in February 2006.
