The Apprentice - Helen Louise Milligan

Helen Milligan was a 30-year-old executive assistant to the chief executive officer of bakers Greggs, living in Northumberland, when she appeared on The Apprentice series 7.

Helen was runner-up in The Apprentice and Lord Sugar mentioned that if this had been like the previous Apprentice series and he was simply looking to give someone a job then Helen would definitely have won. However, as he was disappointed by her business plan, he preferred to make his £250,000 investment with Tom Pellereau.

After The Apprentice, Helen Milligan stayed at Greggs and was put in charge of their expansion into the South East.

Helen Milligan was born in Stockport.

She gained a 2:1 at De Montfort University and was Business Development Support Manager at BB's Coffee and Muffins, overseeing their non-franchise UK shops.

Helen Milligan then joined Greggs, where she went from being Retail Operations Manager for the Midlands region to being Executive Assistant to the CEO.

Her hobbies include reading and swimming.
