The Apprentice - Jennifer Maguire

Jennifer Maguire was a 27-year-old marketing consultant living in Bristol when she entered The Apprentice series 4.

Jennifer Maguire heralds from Dublin and gained a leaving certificate, which is the equivalent of A-Levels in England.

Jennifer went to New York and had a spell waiting on tables. She had a year in advertising sales in Dublin and then she ran her own advertising business in Brussels before specialising in advertising for the fashion and leisure industry.

When she was a teenager, Jennifer was a champion show jumper.

As far as her career is concerned, Jennifer Maguire told the BBC:

"I had no training. I started selling on the street. Yet when I ran an office I made £60,000 in the first 6 months."

In her application for The Apprentice, Jennifer Maguire said that one of her worst business qualities was giving idiots a second chance, and Sir Alan Sugar threw the words back at her in week 5 when he decided to let her stay and instead fired Lindi.

However, her stay on The Apprentice did not last much longer and she was fired on week 7 along with Jenny in a double firing.
