The FourFourTwo Football Rich List 2006
In December 2006, football magazine FourFourTwo published their football rich list.
Once again in first place overall was Roman Abramovich with over £10 billion. Other notable figures included Malcolm Glazer in fourth and Sir Alan Sugar in sixth.
The list below concentrates on players.

- 2. Michael Owen moves up one place with £32m
- 3. Robbie Fowler with £28m - we always find Robbie's ranking remarkable.

- 5. Rio Ferdinand with £22m
- 6. Ryan Giggs with £22m
- 7. Andriy Shevchenko with £22m
- 8 Thierry Henry with £21m

Notes: Dennis Bergkamp with £37m, who was second last year, has dropped out of the top 10. Roy Keane, who was sixth in 2005 with £25m, is also dropped from the list after his retirement as a player. Ruud van Nistelrooy, who left the English leagues also loses his place.
