Big Brother
Big Brother series 7 commenced on 18 May 2006 and it finished on 18 August 2006.
It was won by Pete Bennett after more twists and turns than ever. In spite of the plot twists thrown into Big Brother series 7 by the producers the one fixed thing was Pete being odds on favourite to win throughout.
The fourteen original housemates (and the additional ones who joined the house later) were whittled down from 25,000 applicants.
Big Brother's Little Brother and Big Brother's Big Mouth were transmitted as in previous years. There was also Big Brother's Big Brain: a live psychology show presented by Dermot O'Leary.
