Joe Chicken
Joe Chicken, from Kent but living in London, was a 33 year-old occupational therapist when he entered the BBC reality TV series Castaway in 2007.
Joe Chicken worked for several years as an occupational therapist with teenagers suffering from substance misuse, before moving on to become a pub manager, however, he returned to occupational therapy before going off to appear on Castaway.
Joe Chicken is a vegetarian, a dolphin lover and a socialist.
He enjoys kayaking, swimming and cycling.
