Ken Rose
Ken Rose, from Maldon in Essex, was 65 when he entered Castaway in 2007.
Ken Rose had served for 22 years as a colour sergeant in the Royal Marines.
Afterwards, Ken Rose pursued his interest in photography, first becoming involved in glamour photography before concentrating on wedding photographs and videos.
Before Castaway, Kenneth Rose also worked as a driving instructor.
In the first programme of Castaway, Ken Rose pointed to his status as the oldest castaway and tried to lay down some systems for life there.
