Corky and Cloris surprised many by lasting into the middle of the season before being voted off.
Corky Ballas has been dancing since he was 6. His father operated Dance City USA, the largest dance studio ever in the world, and his mother was a flamenco dancer.
Corky Ballas became the United States Champion and held the title for 8 years.
Corky Ballas met Shirley Stopford and they became partners on and off the dance floor. Corky and Shirley Ballas won the United States International Latin Style Championships 8 times.
They moved to England and Corky and Shirley Ballas continued to notch up numerous important championships.
Corky and Shirley had a son, Dancing with the Stars regular Mark Ballas, and they also provided a home for the other Dancing with the Stars regulars Derek Hough and Julianne Hough when they were in London.
