Dancing with the Stars: Louie Vito
In Dancing with the Stars series 9, Louie Vito danced with Chelsie Hightower.
They were the 8th couple to be eliminated and ninth couple to leave the series.
Professional snowboarder Louie Vito competes in both the Pipe and Slopestyle disciplines.
Vito turned pro in 2006 and has competed in several Winter X-Games competitions.
He is also a two-time winner of the USSA Grand Prix Halfpipe Series.
Louie Vito was born in 1988 in Columbus in Ohio but grew up in Bellefontaine, and learned how to snowboard at Mad River Mountain.
Louie Vito's official site describes how his parents let him go to Stratton Mountain School, which is a snowboard school in Vermont, where they let students snowboard in the morning and go to school in the afternoon.
Once he had graduated, Louie Vito bought a house in Salt Lake City.
On 15 September 2009 the USSA announced the 2009/2010 U.S. Snowboarding Team which included Louie Vito.
