22 December 2004 - Wesley Snipes vs. New York: Wesley Snipes is suing the city of New York over an arrest warrant issued against him, claiming that it has no jurisdiction to arrest him as part of an Indiana paternity case.
Snipes says the city had no authority to seek his DNA and alleges the woman involved is a mentally ill former crack addict who has a history of making wild accusations against celebrities.
The legal action says the woman, who claimed to have had Snipes's child, falsely said they had sex in a crack house when in fact they had actually never met.
