Graeme Pierre Le Saux was born in Jersey on 17 October 1968.

Le Saux was famous as a left-sided defender with Chelsea, Blackburn, Southampton and England.

Graeme Le Saux joined Chelsea in 1987 from Jersey side St Paul's, and made his debut 2 years later.

He was transferred to Blackburn Rovers in 1993 for 750,000, where he helped them to win the Premiership in 1995.

In 1997 he was signed back by Chelsea for 5 million, at the time a club record, and helped them win the League Cup and European Cup Winners Cup.

In 2003 Graeme Le Saux joined Southampton, but retired from professional football at the end of the 2004/2005 season.

Le Saux made his England debut in a 1994 friendly against Denmark, and went on to gain 36 caps, scoring 1 goal for the national side.

In 2007, Graeme Le Saux published his autobiography, Left Field, in which he detailed how he was on the receiving end of bullying and homophobia (in spite of not being gay).

Since giving up playing football professionally, Graeme Le Saux has been a regular football pundit on radio and TV.

Before going on Dancing On Ice, Graeme Le Saux pointed out that he was in decent physical shape, playing tennis twice a week, and cycling a lot.

In January 2009, Graeme Le Saux entered the ITV skating show Dancing on Ice partnering Kristina Lenko, however he was knocked out in the first week after losing a skate-off against Donal Macintyre.
