Ms Dynamite

Ms Dynamite, whose real name is Niomi MacLean-Daley, was born on 26 April 1981.

She grew up in North London.

Her younger brother is Akala, whose real name is Kingslee Daley. Akala is a musician, who used to play football.

Ms Dynamite's success as a musician led to a Double Brit Award and three MOBOs as well as becoming a Mercury Prize winner and media personality of the year at the Race in the Media Awards.

Ms Dynamite released her debut single, "Boo!" (produced by Sticky) and the album A Little Deeper in 2002.

A Little Deeper included the singles "Dy-Na-Mi-Tee" and "It Takes More."

In 2005, Ms Dynamite released her second album, Judgement Days.

The following year Ms Dynamite was ordered to do 60 hours of community service for assaulting a police officer.

In 2009, Ms Dynamite became a celebrity contestant on Hell's Kitchen. She came 4th.

Hell's Kitchen was not the first reality TV show Ms Dynamite has appeared in.

In November 2006, Ms Dynamite had a high-speed car crash while filming for Sky reality television show The Race.

In 2007, Ms Dynamite travelled to her ancestral land Jamaica to make a documentary about slaves who fought back.

Shortly before Hell's Kitchen, Ms Dynamite had become a vegetarian.

In 2011, Ms Dynamite returned to music and her single Neva Soft was scheduled for release in July.
