Marco's Kitchen Burnout: Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford was born in Singapore. She lived in five different countries before the age of 10. Her father rose through the ranks in the army to warrant officer, and the family lived in various Army bases abroad.
Ruth Langsford's broadcasting career began at Westcountry TV, where she made Fern Britton's tea, operated a children's birthday puppet Gus Honeybun, hosted the evening news programme and presented her own chat show.
Ruth Langsford presents This Morning every Friday and in school holidays with her partner Eamonn Holmes.
Ruth Langsford's credits also include presenting The Great British Garden Show on BBC2.
In 2009 Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes got engaged.
They have a son, Jack.
In 2010 Ruth Langsford became one of the celebrities on Marco's Kitchen Burnout. She had previously appeared on other TV food shows such as Ready Steady Cook, and Westcountry TV's Taste of the West.
