Dancing on Ice: Chico Slimani's Biography
Chico was born Yousseph Slimani in Bridgend, Wales.
However, when he was 2 years old he went to live on his grandparents' farm in Morocco.
When he was 14, Chico returned to the UK.
Having trained as a hairdresser, he had various jobs including working as an exotic dancer.
Chico came to widespread public attention on The X Factor. Although he only finished fifth, he later had a number one hit with It's Chico Time.
He is connected to the Rainbow Child Foundation.
Chico Slimani is married to Danijela Rakic.
In 2012 he replaced the injured Chesney Hawkes as a contestant on Dancing on Ice.
Chico was paired with Jodeyne Higgins on Dancing on Ice.
