In the third, fourth, fifth and sixth weeks of Dancing of Ice, Steve Backley and Susie Lipanova were involved in skate-offs. They were eventually eliminated in the sixth week of Dancing on Ice.
Susie Lipanova was born in England and is a professional skater, who often partners her husband Andre Lipanov, for example, in Dancing on Ice - The Tour.
Susie came second in the British Junior Championships in 1990 and fifth in the British Senior Championships in 1992.
From 1992 to 1998, Susie Lipanova was a member of the British Olympic Squad.
As a professional skater, Susie Lipanova has toured Europe.
Her UK shows include Hot Ice at Blackpool Pleasure Beach Arena, of which the Lancashire Evening Telegraph in 2002 commented: " ... with a few exciting additions including the haunting Montmartre led by the stunning Susie Lipanova."
