Danniella Westbrook's Biography
Early LifeDanniella Westbrook was born on November 5, 1973 in Walthamstow, north east London.
She grew up in Loughton in Essex with her father Andy a cab driver (later a carpet contractor) and her mother Sue who worked in a shop.
From a young age she modelled and went to Sylvia Young Theatre School.
When she was 16, Danniella Westbrook was cast as Sam Mitchell in EastEnders. A role she would have off and on over many years.
In September 2009 she returned to the role for the fourth time. She had previously appeared in EastEnders from 1990 to 1993; from 1995 to 1996; and from 1999 to 2000, when she was replaced by Kim Medcalf, who left EastEnders in 2005.
Much of Danniella Westbrook's troubled personal life has been well-documented. Her autobiography The Other Side of Nowhere, reveals the extent of her drug addiction.
Additionally, in the documentary Danniella Westbrook broadcast on Channel 4 on 22 May 2002, the viewer follows her as she is about to undergo surgery to repair her nose (damaged through cocaine).
The documentary also shows her preparing to marry Kevin Jenkins.
Before settling down with Kevin Jenkins, Danniella Westbrook's relationships included Brian Harvey of East 17 and Robert Fernandez, father of her son Kai.
In 1998 she married Ben Morgan, a van driver, only eight weeks after meeting him at a petrol station. The marriage lasted less than a year.
In 2003, Danniella Westbrook walked off I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! missing her family. She had given birth to a daughter Jody only the previous year.
Danniella Westbrook came fourth on Dancing on Ice 2010. She partnered Matthew Gonzalez. They narrowly missed out on the final after losing a skate-off against Gary Lucy and Maria Filippov 3-2 on the judges' vote.
In 2016, Danniella Westbrook became one of the housemates on Celebrity Big Brother. She came fifth.
