Sheree Murphy was born into an Islington, North London family of Arsenal supporters, but it did not stop her from marrying footballer Harry Kewell, formerly of Leeds and then Liverpool.

Murphy, who is most famous for her role as Tricia in the Yorkshire soap, Emmerdale, tied the knot with Kewell in May 2004 in the Chapel of the West in the Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas, a replica of Venice's 1.6km Grand Canal!

Sheree Murphy, or 'Smurf' as she was fondly called on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, first met Harry Kewell in a club just when he was breaking into the Leeds first team, although he lied and told her he was a builder.

Sheree has an extraordinary house including a downstairs toilet with 360 degree mirrored walls and a kitchen TV that moves to her eye-line as she cooks, as shown on the UK version of Footballers' Cribs on MTV.

Sheree Murphy briefly dated Robbie Williams, and had a longer relationship with Darryl Paul.

Sheree Murphy came second in I'm a Celebrity and was just pipped by Carol Thatcher. Sheree certainly faced her demons. At the very start of the series she parachuted out of a plane in spite of being totally petrified.

Some viewers chose to be sceptical of Sheree's phobias as she bravely volunteered for tasks, but her second place was testimony to her overall popularity.

Since I'm a Celebrity, Sheree Murphy has acted in The Royal and presented the British Soap Awards on ITV2, as well as co-hosting Soapstar Superstar Bonus Tracks on ITV2.

Sheree Murphy told The Times in January 2007 that she's good at tap dancing and is bad at cooking and that she can't bear miserable people.

In 2015, she appeared on Celebrity Masterchef.

In 2016, she became the presenter of BBC1’s cookery contest, Yes Chef.
