Gordon Ramsay on top, but you would not know it

The results of Harden's London Restaurants guide's survey have just come out and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, his Chelsea restaurant, was voted 'Top Gastronomic Experience', however it was still portrayed as a disappointing result for Gordon Ramsay by The Times article, Rivals turn up heat on Ramsay and The Guardian piece, Guidebook diners lose their appetite for Gordon Ramsay

Curiously they seemed to think that part of the bad news for Gordon Ramsay was Pétrus winning top spot for the coveted Overall Best Restaurant.

Pétrus, of course, is part of the Gordon Ramsay group, and it seems a little blinkered to see this as bad news for Ramsay himself, whilst simply crediting chef Marcus Wareing.
