Keira Knightley on fame

The Biennale Cinema 64th Venice Film Festival kicks off tonight and the opening ceremony is followed by the screening of Atonement, directed by Joe Wright and starring Keira Knightley, James McAvoy, Vanessa Redgrave, Tomola Garai and Brenda Blethyn.

The BBC had an interesting report on Knightley's view on the impact of fame, quoting her:

"Once you become famous you get completely dehumanised. I think people forget there is a person in there trying to deal with it "

Other notable films being screened at Venice are Sleuth with Michael Caine and Jude Law and Woody Allen's Cassandra, which stars Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor.
