Maestro Background
Maestro is a BBC Two series broadcast in 2008 in which eight celebrities compete for the chance to conduct the BBC Concert Orchestra at BBC Proms In The Park in Hyde Park, as part of the BBC Proms' world-famous Last Night celebrations on 13 September 2008.
Maestro is presented by Clive Anderson.
The panel of judges is chaired by Sir Roger Norrington, who is conducting the Last Night Of The BBC Proms 2008 at the Royal Albert Hall.
At the end of each episode of Maestro, the judges and members of the BBC Concert Orchestra decide which celebrity to vote off.
