Robert Pattinson's Biography

Robert Pattinson was born on May 13, 1986, in London. He studied at the private schools Tower House and Harrodian School.
He had various stage roles and a couple of film credits before he was cast as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in 2005. He also appeared as Diggory in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Before acting in the Harry Potter films, Robert Pattinson had not read any of the books.
Robert Pattinson's major breakthrough, however, was still to come, when he was cast as vampire Edward Cullen in the hugely successful Twilight films based on Stephenie Meyer's books.
Pattinson, who played in a band called Bad Girls, run by his first girlfriend's future boyfriend, also had a couple of songs on the Twilight soundtrack.
His other credits include playing a young Salvador Dali in Little Ashes.
In 2010 Robert Pattinson was cast as the lead character Georges Duroy in Bel Ami.
It was reported in February 2010 that Pattinson was dating his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart.
According to the BBC who listed him as one of the Faces of 2009 Pattinson's fans call themselves "Robsessed".
In January 2010 Robert Pattinson topped GQ's best-dressed list.
