Chris Ferguson
Chris Ferguson was born on April 11, 1963 in Los Angeles.
Chris Ferguson's parents taught him poker at an early age. His many poker successes since then include winning the World Series of Poker in 2000.
Chris 'Jesus' Ferguson's nickname dates back to his days at UCLA when he was called Jesus Christ Superstar based on his dancing skills.
Ferguson was kicked out of UCLA where he was doing a PhD in computer sciences since which time he has concentrated on poker. Chris Ferguson's official site has his poker playing record since 1995.
In the Gaming supplement of the Racing Post, Chris Ferguson revealed:
"I've learnt a lot from reading Slansky's Tournament Poker for Advanced Players. It's the best book out there but I disagree with some stuff in it even now."
