A few short notes about the Sedgefield election:

At the moment the site's list of candidates is not comprehensive. The webmaster hopes to rectify this as the election nears and more information becomes available.

Cherri Blairout-Gilham will be standing for The Pensioners Party. You can find out about Cherri at her website, which has biographical information and her reasons for standing for Sedgefield, as well as her views on Reg Keys.

Not strictly related to Sedgefield but for those who are interested in Tony Blair, just a note to say the Tony Blair news section has been updated with an item featuring an interesting quote on Blair by Mo Mowlem.

And finally for the record .. it is interesting to note that the bookies feel sure that Tony Blair's majority in Sedgefield will decrease. To get to the odds you need to navigate to the politics individual constituencies page.

For those unused to decimal odds, what the figures mean is that if you bet £1 that Tony Blair's majority will increase and it does you make a profit of £1.25, whereas if you bet that it will decrease at the same stake you only make 57p profit if that happens.
