- In 2007, Anjum Anand broke through into terrestrial TV. She was commissioned to make a 6 x 30 minutes series for BBC2 in what would be its first high-definition cookery series. The series, with the working title Spice Up Your Life not only features Anjum Anand's recipes but showcase her talents as a busy wife and mother.
- Back in 2004, Anjum Anand came 39th in DesiClub.com's Top 50 Coolest Desis.
- In an interesting article on Little India, it reveals that Anand lost over 75 pounds of 'puppy fat' without going on extreme diets and it quotes from Anand's book, 'Indian Every Day – light healthy Indian food': "This millennium is about healthy eating. No more starvation diets, no more elimination diets, no more raw food, no more color co-coordinated diets, no more, no more, just say no! This millennium is about feeling good about yourself."
