Audley Harrison

Audley Harrison was born on 26 October 1971 in Harlesden, west London.

Audley Harrison studied at Brunel University and graduated in 1999 with a BSc Honours degree in Sport Science with Leisure Management.

Known to fans as The A-Force, Audley Harrison, at 6′5½″, won gold in the 2000 Sydney Olympics in the superheavyweight boxing category.

Harrison turned professional on May 19, 2001, when he achieved a first round knockout victory over Mike Middleton.

In February 2007, Harrison was knocked out by Michael Sprott for the European title. However, three years later, he knocked out Michael Sprott in the last minute to win the European heavyweight title.

In 2010, Audley Harrison was easily defeated by David Haye.

In 2011, Audley Harrison became one of the celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing. At the time, he and his wife Raychel and their daughter, Ariella, were living in Los Angeles.

He was paired with Natalie Lowe. They were the sixth couple to be voted off.

In 2001, he published his autobiography Realising the Dream.
