His brother is Dean Lennox Kelly who played Kev Ball in Shameless.
In November 2009, the two brothers were cast together for the first time, when they were lined up to play brothers Dan and Jeff Rampton in the ITV drama Collision.
At the time of Strictly Come Dancing, Craig Kelly had been playing Luke Strong in Coronation Street, however it was revealed that he was leaving the soap.
