In a variety of places, most notably in our article on Federer's August victories, we have discussed Roger Federer's winning habit.
In fact, that article had it spot on, as after Federer had beaten Agassi 6-3 2-6 7-6 (7-1) 6-1 to retain the US Open, he said:
"I had to play my best match and I did it again in the final. I don't know how I do it."
But rather than repeat ourselves by discussing Roger Federer again let us instead take the opportunity to congratulate James Pyman of The Racing Post.
To predict Federer would win does not require a crystal ball, but to advise before the start of the tournament as Pyman did to back A Agassi 3pts e-w 33-1 and R Ginepri 1pt e-w 125-1 is tipping of the highest order!
