Who Is Brian Friedman?

Brian Friedman has choreographed numerous music videos and performances, such as Britney Spears's videos I'm a Slave 4 U, Overprotected, and I Love Rock 'n' Roll, as well as her Dream Within a Dream tour.

Friedman was assistant choreographer and Christopher Walken's dance double in Fatboy Slim's Weapon of Choice.

Brian Friedman has choreographed for a gamut of other artists including Beyonce, Usher, Pink, and Brittany Murphy.

He has also choreographed for numerous TV shows.

As well as being a choreographer, Brian Friedman has also danced in films like Charlie's Angels and Austin Powers Gold Member.

Brian Friedman used to be a judge on So You Think You Can Dance in the USA. In the UK he was a judge on Simon Cowell's Grease Is The Word.

Friedman was also due to be a judge on Cowell's The X Factor, but, in June 2007 ITV announced that Louis Walsh would take back his old role and that Brian Friedman would become the show's creative director, coaching contestants in choreography and styling.

Brian Friedman has 2 dogs (Lion and Mika) and 2 parrots.

Friedman grew up in Arizona. He told Digital Spy:

"Mother actually danced. It's in my genes but I didn't start because of my mother dancing. I copied videos – I'd always dance in front of the TV and I wanted to be like Michael Jackson ..."

Brian Friedman soon progressed from training in Arizona as a child to appearing on TV in L.A. in the likes of Kids Incorporated and Newsies.

Friedman also has an entrepreneurial side and as well as releasing DVDs has introduced his own shoe, The BFree Elite by Frontline.

In 2015 he was one of the celebrities on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. He was the second celebrity to be voted off.
