Who is Amanda Barrie?
Amanda Barrie was born on 14 September 1935 in Lancashire.She is best known for playing the role of Alma Sedgewick (or Baldwin) in Coronation Street.
Her other credits include Bad Girls and Benidorm and two Carry On films.
She was married to Robin Hunter, but they split up.
She revealed that she was bisexual in her autobiography It's Not A Rehearsal and subsequently married the crime writer Hilary Bonner.
In January 2018, Amanda Barrie became one of the housemates on Celebrity Big Brother.
