Alex Mills was a 22-year-old company director, living in Cardiff, when he entered The Apprentice series 9.

Alex Mills began his working life as a housekeeper in a hotel. His mother runs a nursery.
He started his first company at 19 in a garage in the Valleys in south Wales. The company made plaques and tombstones. Then, Alex invested money into a CCTV business.
His hobbies include playing the guitar (he used to be part of a death-metal band) and sport shooting.
Alex Mills was the first person from Wales to be a candidate on The Apprentice.
