Born on 22nd September 1977, Alexa Tilley was a key player in Totteridge tennis club and represented the Borough of Barnet at Under 14 and Under 18.

Alexa Tilley is a business consultant with Capgemini and lives in London.

On paper, Alexa was ripe for The Apprentice as she was MD of a Young Enterprise company while still doing her A Levels, and was involved in Young Enterprise itself as a volunteer.

However, it was not to be, as Sir Alan Sugar considered her a lousy manager, when she was put in charge of the boys in week 4, and fired her from The Apprentice series 2.

After school, Alexa qualified with a BA in Economics from Emmanuel College, Cambridge.

Alexa Tilley believes that the Government should work hard to ensure that gifted students are encouraged to reach for the heights, whatever their financial position.

One person who had to overcome several rejections but rose to the top in the end is her cousin, Little Britain's Matt Lucas.

The Herts Advertiser described how, in 2007, Alexa Tilley combined work at Cap Gemini with her involvement in Young Enterprise and the Prince's Trust.
