Anita Shah was a 35-year-old business strategist from Birmingham when she entered The Apprentice series 5.

Anita was part of the losing team in the first week and was fired by Lord Sugar (then Sir Alan Sugar).

Anita works for a large corporate, which she returned to after The Apprentice, although she was also writing a novel.

Anita Shah is a qualified lawyer with an LLB in Law & Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice.

Anita Shah went to Lordswood Girls' School in Harborne.

In 2008, Anita Shah led a team to victory at the Visa Business School.

Anita is a cricket fanatic, who wants to launch a business providing emotional, psychological and spiritual therapy.

Anita Shah told Radio 5 Live, the day after the episode of The Apprentice, in which she was fired:

"While Sir Alan continues his search for an apprentice, I continue my quest for a vocation."

Anita Shah listed James Caan of Dragons' Den fame as an inspiration.
