Ansell Henry's Biography
The Apprentice candidate Ansell Henry was one connection away from Lord Sugar.
Ansell was pictured here in the Millwall squad with amongst others, Teddy Sheringham, of whose transfer Alan Sugar had a few things to say (see Sugar's biography).
Ansell, who was 34 when he entered The Apprentice series 2, left school at 16 to join Millwall. He left football and became a Sales Manager in Brighton.
Ansell Henry believed that this would stand him in good stead. He said: "One of the things many people fear on The Apprentice is standing up and having to sell to a complete stranger, but I do that for a living."
Ansell did well in The Apprentice. He was the third last to go (beaten only by Ruth and Michelle), and when he fired him, Sir Alan Sugar said: "you're a very, very fine fellow".
Ansell married his partner of six years, Jodie, just days before appearing on The Apprentice ...You're Fired.
After The Apprentice, Ansell Henry returned to his job in security systems and was subsequently promoted to National Sales Director.
Ansell became an Ambassador for the Make Your Mark campaign. He judged the finals of Young Enterprise UK.
