Born in Leicestershire, Joanna Riley set up her cleaning company business when she was in her early 20s.
She left school at 16. Her first job was as a hotel waitress.
Joanna Riley then worked in a call centre before setting up her own business.
In her audition, for The Apprentice, Joanna pointed out that you don't always need to go to University to do well in business, but you need to know what you are talking about and be on the ball.
Joanna has twin sons: Kai and Riley. Joanna Riley's partner is named Leon.
On 1 October 2010, The Sun reported that Joanna Riley had a criminal conviction for a racial attack.
In the first week of The Apprentice, Joanna Riley was the project manager of the winning side.
She went on to come fourth in The Apprentice.
