Phillip Taylor's Biography
Phillip Taylor was the seventh person to be fired from The Apprentice. When Lord Sugar pointed the finger, Phillip was not happy and sourly muttered 'joke'.
Phillip Taylor, who was born and bred in County Durham, gained a NEBS Certificate in Management.
Before becoming an estate agent, Phillip was an engineer.
The People reported how Phillip Taylor's father Billy, a retired sergeant, committed suicide at his Spanish holiday home in 2003.
Phillip was just two when his mother and father split up and he had lost touch with his father but had got back in touch about 5 years before his father's death.
Before the start of The Apprentice, The Mirror reported that Phillip Taylor and fellow Apprentice candidate Kate Walsh had 'a full-blown romance', which carried on after filming.
The Mirror resumed the theme in April 2009, claiming that Apprentice candidates Kate Walsh and Phil Taylor were back together.
On 3 July 2009, The Sun reported that Phillip Taylor and Kate Walsh had got engaged.
In January 2010, The Mirror reported that Phillip Taylor has set up a new business selling ethical underwear, Happy Cottons.
In November 2010, The Mirror reported that Phillip Taylor had done an exclusive deal with Argos to stock the Body-Rocka.
