Eugene offered to go to the diary room when Big Brother requested a housemate's presence; and once in there he was offered £50,000 of the prize money, but it would mean that the first prize would dwindle by half also to £50000. Eugene took the money.

Eugene was chosen to present Mercury FM's Breakfast Show (6am - 9am) from October 10, 2005 for a week as stand-in for DJ Dan Jennings.

Eugene got two out of three questions right but it wasn't enough - his father, Phil, was part of team and did well but not enough to stop the Eggheads winning.

In September 2006 Eugene Sully was Uckfield FM's carnival float special guest star.

After Big Brother, Eugene eventually returned to being a radio engineer. He also went into training for his pilot's license.
