She has acted in a variety of television shows, such as 'Allo, 'Allo!, Middlemarch, Casualty, The IT Crowd, Little Britain and Bad Girls, but is best known for playing Heather Trott in EastEnders.
Her theatre credits include Measure For Measure for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Cheryl has Type 2 diabetes and supports Diabetes UK
Cheryl Fergison was a housemate in Celebrity Big Brother in the summer of 2012.
In 2024, she revealed she had undergone treatment for womb cancer.
