Who is Luke Marsden?

Luke Christian Thomas Marsden from Wigan was a 20 year-old politics and journalism student at the University of Salford and was a technical services operator in a bread factory when he entered Big Brother series 9.

Luke Marsden's 21st birthday on July 16 took place in the Big Brother house.

His mother is a nurse.

Luke was a member of the student council.

Series 9 had been the first time that Luke had auditioned for Big Brother.

Luke Marsden does not smoke, drink or swear. He supports the Conservative Party.

In spite of being very different, Luke and Rebecca Shiner, also known as Bex, got together in the Big Brother house and started going out together outside the BB house.

Luke and Bex broke up about 18 months after the end of Big Brother.

Luke Marsden is into wrestling and has been a ring announcer and referee. Many of the wrestling bouts took place in St Cuthbert's Social Centre.

Luke Marsden set up the wrestling group 21CW.

Although to a large extent a bystander in the first task of Big Brother, nevertheless Luke found himself up for eviction alongside Mario, Stephanie and Lisa when the task was failed. However, Luke Marsden survived as Stephanie was voted off.

On Day 55 of Big Brother Luke and Dale were nominated, but because of a rule infringement, Darnell, Kathreya, Maysoon, Mohamed, Rachel, Rex and Stuart also faced the public vote.

Nevertheless, it was Luke Marsden, who became the seventh housemate to be evicted from Big Brother series 9.

He became a radio presenter on Wish FM.
