Thaila Zucchi's Biography

Thaila Zucchi was an experienced actress and musician, before she entered Big Brother series 8 as a fake housemate, Pauline, nicknamed Pooh, who had just been evicted from the Australian Big Brother House.

It proved an uphill task for Thaila Zucchi as some housemates like Carole, Tracey and Charley seemed suspicious from the start and after a few days, the housemates decided that 'Pauline' was the most fake housemate and so the actress left with Big Brother informing the housemates of the state of play.

Thaila, pronounced Tyler, used to be a member of the band allSTARS that arose out of and was featured in ITV's STARStreet. The band had 4 top twenty hits.

Since then she has acted in the theatre and TV and presented on TV. Many of her performances have been in comedies that to some extent depend on members of the public or celebrities including Balls of Steel and Star Stories.

On Channel 4's Balls of Steel website, Mark Dolan described Thaila Zucchi's role as the Bunny Boiler in Balls of Steel, which also featured Alex Zane:

"What she does is go up to happy, heterosexual couples, and starts flirting outrageously with the bloke to see what will happen. And she's an incredibly attractive young woman. She's extremely pretty and she's got a body that could stop a clock. She wears a really short skirt, and she sits near them and starts chatting with the bloke ..."

More traditional, but still comedic acting roles include playing Sophia in The IT Crowd and Thaila was cast in the second series of BBC's Love Soup.
