Chicken George Boswell from Rockford, Illinois had worked in the roofing business for many years when he was the sixth person to be evicted in Big Brother 1 and was one of the former Big Brother contestants who was selected to appear in Big Brother 7: All-Stars.

However, in week 8 of Big Brother: All-Stars, in a double eviction night, Danielle was evicted first, but George was the next to go. It left just four houseguests still standing: Janelle, Erika, Mike and Will.

Chicken George, on the first programme of Big Brother 7, compared his selection to being "like a donkey winning the Kentucky Derby".

In this chat with CNN, George explained how he became known as the "Chicken Man":

"Because I had such a good time with the chickens, you guys! That was something in the house that could occupy my time. One day I was feeding them bread and they wouldn't eat the big pieces, so I started cutting it up. I made a "chicken buffet" for them. I liked taking care of them, and it occupied my time ... That's why they called me Chicken Man, and because I could talk like a chicken!"

George and his wife Teresa have three children.
