Ivette Corredero's Biography

It was a case of 'so near, so far' for Ivette Corredero as after 11 tough weeks, she was finally pipped to the post by Maggie Ausburn, who won Big Brother series 6.

Ivette Corredero came second on a 4-3 vote.

She was a waitress from Miami Beach when she was one of the candidates to appear in Big Brother 7: All-Stars - however she was not selected.

Ivette used to work with fellow Big Brother 6 houseguest Beau Beasley.

Ivette's favourite film is Pretty Woman and Julia Roberts is one of her favourite actresses.

Ivette is a Lesbian, although she does not like the term, finding it a vulgar word.

Ivette Corredero lives with her partner, Maggie, who commented: "Ivette's mouth gets her in trouble a lot of the time."

Ivette regards herself as very honest and competitive.

During Big Brother 6, Ivette said "I'm stubborn, I'm outspoken, I'm very loud. Do you want me to continue?"

Ivette was the first Latin woman on Big Brother.
