Jordan comes from Matthews, North Carolina and before Big Brother, Jordan Lloyd was a waitress and also worked in a hair salon.

She had been a waitress since she was 16.

Jordan had never seen Big Brother before her audition. When the show's producers wanted to contact her she did not even have an email address.

Subsequently she caught up on the show on you tube.

Before Big Brother, Jordan Lloyd said that she was single but was not looking for love in the house.

At the time of Big Brother, Jordan lived with her mother and younger brother and also had an older sister.

In January 2010, Entertainment Weekly reported that Jordan Lloyd and Jeff Schroeder were joining the 16th edition of The Amazing Race.
