Her career includes having been a nanny for a high profile couple and a special effects make-up artist.

Lydia Tavera's father is a captain in the police force. She is very close to her sister and also has a younger and older brother.

Lydia's hobbies include bowling, swimming and yoga and she is a very keen Harry Potter fan, which is why Lydia has a tattoo of an "HP" with a little lightning bolt on her index finger.

Lydia's other tattoos include the Prince symbol, David Bowie, Hello Kitty, Paul Frank characters, a unicorn seahorse with a mermaid and a gypsy.

She also has piercings in her wrists.
