Parker Somerville's Biography

Parker Somerville, from Northridge in California, graduated with a bachelor's degree in radio and television from Southern Illinois University.

Before becoming a photographer, Parker Somerville served in the Air Force from 1999-2002 but was given a general discharge.

According to Parker's biography on the Big Brother official site:

"The accomplishment he is most proud of in his life is losing 45 pounds through will power, diet and exercise."

Parker keeps 2 lizards (Reggie and Simone) and has 3 tattoos: a Zodiac Ram, a rooster, and a kanji (Chinese / Japanese script) tattoo that says Brothers, Together, Eternally.

Parker Somerville was born on 6 April 1981.

In Big Brother series 9 Parker was paired with his 'soulmate' Jen.

Big Brother was not a smooth ride and Parker and Jen were evicted on day 14, however they did pick up $5000 each as the first 'power couple'.

Later on, the Big Brother viewers voted on whom they wanted back out of Alex, Jen, Parker, Amanda, and Allison and they voted for Alex, but Parker came second.
