She grew up in Queen Charlotte on Haida Gwaii in British Columbia, Canada.
Carlotta started skating at an early age and her first coach was Nicole Rumley.
In 2006, at just 17 years old she started touring with Disney On Ice.
Two years later Carlotta Edwards married fellow skater Alex Demetriou.
In 2019, she was paired with Richard Blackwood in Dancing on Ice.
They were the second pair to be eliminated.
