Charlie Wheeller's Biography

Charlie Wheeller, who heralds from Southampton, was a 19 year old contortionist and hip hop dancer, when he was selected to be a contestant on the second series in the UK of So You Think You Can Dance.

He is the son of the playwright Mark Wheeller.

At the time of his appearance on So You Think You Can Dance, Charlie Wheeller was living in London and studying a foundation degree at Circus Space.

Charlie Wheeller started break-dancing while a pupil at Bitterne Park Secondary School.

He later attended Barton Peveril College in Eastleigh.

Charlie auditioned for So You Think You Can Dance after learning about the preliminary auditions only the night before.
