Margaret Cho's Biography
Margaret Cho was born on December 5, 1968 and was raised in San Francisco. Her father wrote joke books in Korean.
Margaret Cho first performed stand-up comedy at the age of 16 in The Rose & Thistle comedy club above a bookstore her parents ran.
Cho went on to have several popular tours including I'm the One That I Want, Notorious C.H.O, Revolution and Beautiful.
Margaret Cho became a regular cast member of the series Drop Dead Diva.
She had a starring role in the sitcom, All-American Girl.
She has received honors from GLAAD, National Organization for Women, Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund, and the Victory Fund.
In Dancing with the Stars season 11, Margaret Cho was partnered with Louis Van Amstel. They were the third couple to be eliminated.
